When I was 10 years old we moved to Australia and lived there for four years. I made some amazing lifelong memories and friends. One friend in particular was Cindy. She was my very best friend and we were inseparable. As you can imagine leaving Australia was extremely hard for me, and not only because I was a teenage girl (yikes). Cindy and I have kept in touch and she has come to the States to visit a couple of times over the years, the latest being when I was still in college. So you can imagine my surprise when she told me a.) that she was coming to the States to visit and b.) coming with her new Fiance Danny!! I was so excited to see her and meet Danny. We planned to meet in NYC in July. Logan, my Dad and I took the train up from DC (which Logan LOVED) and we spent the weekend visiting with Cindy and Danny and sightseeing the Big Apple. We had a wonderful time and it was so great to catch up with an old very dear friend. Now, the running joke has always been that whenever Cindy gets married we will all go back to Australia to visit. So guess what!! In March we finally made good on that promise and went back "down under"!! (I will post more about our visit coming soon)
