the dining room.

The dining room was one of the main reasons I loved our house from first sight, but it definitely needed a little updating. Our first task was to paint the portion of wall beneath the chair railing white and add wainscotting. Mikey's parents helped us with the measuring and cutting and pretty much everything. Thanks Pat & Chuck!! I think it came out really well and was exactly what I was looking for. It really brightens up the room and makes it look more elegant and refined.

Previously the dining room was all blue with a white chair railing.  We painted under the chair railing white and then started adding the molding.
