the big move.

At the end of June, we made the move to Morgantown, WV. We planned to stay with Mikey's parents until we bought a home of our own. The only downside to our move was that Mikey had not yet found a job in Morgantown. He had a couple interviews lined up though so we were going on a leap of faith. So after close to 10 years of living in the Washington, DC area we left our first home together as a married couple, our dear, close friends and the majority of my immediate family. The move itself wasn't without hiccupcs, the truck that we rented broke down numerous times on the drive to Morgantown. Mikey, bless his heart, kept at it and what should have been a 3 hour trip, I believe ended up being close to a 6 hour ordeal. But we made it and stowed all of our belongings in storage (thank you so much to all of our friends who helped us with moving!!) and moved in with the in-laws :) Enough thanks cannot be said to Pat and Chuck for letting us crash at their place for 2 months. They were so inviting and sweet to put up with us. I know that Logan enjoyed spending extra quality time with his Grandama and Key-Pa.
