Christmas 2014.

This year Christmas was extra special as it was sweet Emma's very first Christmas and Logan was at a really fun age being 3 1/2 years old.  Logan was so excited and kept asking every morning "did Santa come?!" and singing "Happy Birthday Jesus" and "we wish you a merry Christmas" all around the house.  We went to the children's mass on Christmas Eve, which I think Logan enjoyed, I can't wait for him to be old enough to participate in the mass in a year or two!  We spent Christmas morning at our house with our little family and then went to Christmas day mass with Mikey's parents and spent Christmas afternoon at their house with the Huffman's.  Friday evening we spent back at Pat and Chuck's with Mikey's aunts and uncles and his brother Beau with his wife Sarah and our Godson William.  Since Christmas was on a Thursday this year I took off both Christmas eve and the day after Christmas.  However, Mikey had to work on Friday so we decided to drive down to my Dad's house on Saturday morning to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family.  It was the first time we met adorable baby Wyatt and we had so much fun taking the first "cousins photo" with all three kiddos.  With all of our Christmas celebrations we remember the true "reason for the season" which is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I am feeling especially thankful and blessed this year with the births of Emma and Wyatt and the joys that this new generation of our family brings to this world.  Merry Christmas everyone and God Bless!!

Oh the annual "cousins Christmas photo" - Logan was slightly uncooperative this year and William wasn't really going for it either....boys!

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

We decided to take the weekend after Thanksgiving to get into the Christmas spirit and get our tree.  Mikey and I have been cutting down our own tree for the last couple years and since we moved to Morgantown we found a place about 15 minutes away that we love.  We had so much fun trekking through the trees to find the perfect one.  Logan loved "helping" daddy cut down the tree but I think he enjoyed playing in and eating the snow even more.  Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and I can't wait to celebrate this holiday season with our new family of four.
